The wines:

We pour excellent quality wines that demonstrate great value at their prices. All of these wines are perfect for a Thanksgiving spread!

  • Aveleda, Alvarinho, Vinho Verde, Portugal, 2021 ($2.50/1oz. $7/3oz. $10/5oz.)
Vinho Verde is one of the best values for enthusiasts of refreshing whites. This one is made from the grape Alvarinho, which is the same as the Spanish grape Albarino. It has also received 90 Points from Wine Enthusiast.
  • Jermann, Pinot Grigio, Friuli, Italy, 2022 ($3.50/1oz. $10/3oz. $14/5oz.)
Jermann is one of the most celebrated producers of Friuli and this Pinot Grigio is way above of what is typically seen in the market in its purity of fruit and concentration.
  • Marc Bredif, Chenin Blanc, Vouvray, France, 2021 ($4/1oz. $11/3oz. $14/5oz)
Vouvray is one of these wines that is not in people's radar, but people love it once they try it. It is fruity without being sweet, has a crisp flavor accompanied by a burst of stone fruit flavors, and is very food-friendly. Marc Bredif is a benchmark producer of Vouvray.
  • Domaine Guy Robin, Vieilles Vignes, Chardonnay, Chablis, France 2020 ($6/1oz $15/3oz. $23/5oz.)
An excellent example of classic Chablis that blind tasters usually identify as Premier Cru. Typical notes of yellow apple, ripe pear, lemon curd, and a bright mineral quality.
  • COS, Rosso, Sicily, Italy, 2019 ($5/1oz. $13/3oz. $20/5oz.)
A must-taste if you like Pinot Noir style of wines and want to venture out! A favorite of the wine nerds, it is made of Nero d'Avola and Frappato with natural production techniques. Bright red cherry, cranberry and licorice notes, soft tannins and a refreshing finish. You can have it with all kinds of white meat and even most seafood.
  • Arnaud Lambert "Terres Rouges," Cabernet Franc, Saumur-Champigny, France, 2021 ($4/1oz. $11/3oz. $16/5oz.)
A Cabernet Franc for the true enthusiast of the variety. From the northern climate of Saumur-Champigny, it is red fruit-dominant and floral with fennel notes and an elegant texture.
  • Chateau Les Grands Chênes, Médoc, France, 2018 ($4/1oz. $11/3oz. $16/5oz.)
One of the most affordable, approachable and enjoyable Bordeaux wines. In the glass, it bursts with aromas of black currants, cherry liqueur, thyme, and earth.
It has also received 91 Points from Wine Advocate.
  • Calon Ségur "Le Marquis de Calon Ségur," Cabernet Sauvignon blend, Saint-Estèphe, France, 2015 ($5/1oz. $13/3oz. $20/5oz.)
Another Bordeaux from one of the 3rd growths and from the excellent 2015 vintage. Showing a dominant black fruit character and a firm structure.
  • L'Ecole No 41, Merlot, Columbia Valley, Washington, USA, 2020 ($4.5/1oz. $12/3oz. $16/5oz.)
Merlot shows very differently from Washington. It still has the classic ripeness of the most examples with expressive red and black fruit. It also has a much firmer tannin profile that makes it a great pairing for robust meat dishes and cheeses.
  • Mount Veeder, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California, USA, 2019 ($5.5/1oz. $15/3oz. $22/5oz.)
Mount Veeder Cab Sauv comes from higher elevation, allowing bold, ripe flavors to develop without sacrificing the structure of acidity and tannin. With notes of blackberry pie, a sprinkle of clove and allspice aromas from oak aging, and dried mint, it's a fan favorite! It has also received 92 Points from Wine Spectator.
  • Plus 6 more wines (4 white, 2 red) that we can't reveal individually since they are on the blind tasting list!
