Bright cherry • raspberry • rose petals • forest floor • silky tannins

In the 1960s, David Lett of The Eyrie Vineyards became the first winemaker to plant Pinot Noir in Oregon’s Dundee Hills, believing the Willamette Valley could produce world-class wines.
At the time, many doubted that Pinot Noir could succeed there. But when Eyrie wines later stood alongside some of Burgundy’s best in international tastings, the region’s potential became undeniable. Soon afterward, winemakers from around the world, including Burgundy, began buying land in the Willamette Valley.
Today, The Eyrie Vineyards continues its pioneering philosophy. The vineyards are certified organic, have never used herbicides or pesticides, and all vineyard work is done by hand.
The vines grow in volcanic Jory soils, which provide excellent drainage while retaining water deep underground during dry periods. Grapes are harvested when just ripe, followed by gentle winemaking and restrained oak use so that the vineyard and the variety can shine.
The result is a Pinot Noir that captures Oregon’s potential beautifully: elegant structure and vibrant acidity reminiscent of Burgundy, paired with the generous fruit character that defines Oregon Pinot Noir.
