The Wines:

Refreshing Whites

Marchesi Antinori ‘"San Giovanni" Orvieto Classico Superiore, Umbria, Italy, 2023 $27.99 $25.19
Grechetto & Procanico Blend
A beautifully layered white based on Grechetto and Procanico, two traditional Umbrian varieties that deliver far more than just refreshment. While it’s bright and vibrant—making it perfect for summer—it also reveals a quiet complexity. Subtle notes of stone fruit, wild herbs, and almond skin give it an almost textural dimension, while a hint of salinity keeps it mouthwatering and food-friendly.

Marchesi Antinori "Conte della Vipera" Umbria, Italy, 2023 $29.99 $26.99
Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon
This unexpected Italian take on a white Bordeaux-style blend is a true standout. The Sauvignon Blanc brings zesty citrus energy, while Semillon adds a soft, rounded texture. Refreshing, layered, and surprisingly elegant.

Vibrant Reds

Prunotto "Fiulot" Barbera d’Asti, Piedmont,  Italy, 2023 $24.99 $22.49
Barbera
A classic, vibrant expression of Barbera. Full of juicy cherry and berry notes with zippy acidity, it’s completely unoaked—just pure, fresh Barbera. It's the perfect companion to light summer pastas, pizza, or even a casual snack of chips and crackers.

Prunotto, Barbaresco Classico, Piedmont, Italy, 2020 $44.99 $40.49
Nebbiolo
Elegant, expressive, and ready to drink. The 2020 vintage brings red fruit, floral notes, and refined tannins. Fermented at low temps to preserve Nebbiolo’s finesse and aged in barrel for balance. A beautiful wine with aging potential, but already drinking perfectly.

Bocca di Lupo "Trentangeli" Aglianico, Castel del Monte, Puglia, Italy, 2020 $29.99 $26.99
Aglianico
Deeply colored and concentrated, this one ticks all the boxes for lovers of big reds. Aglianico is often called Italy’s third great grape (alongside Nebbiolo and Sangiovese), and this example shows why—powerful, structured, and deeply satisfying. Think grilled meats and hearty fare.

Tormaresca "Masseria Maìme" Negroamaro, Salento, Puglia, Italy, 2022 $41.99 $37.79
Negroamaro
Maìme Negroamaro showcases the classic red cherry and berry character of the Negroamaro variety at a top-tier level, delivering impressive depth and complexity.
