With cooler weather in the forecast this Saturday, we’ve lined up a tasting of five Italian reds that highlight key styles from across the country—plus a Turkish white that seriously overdelivers.
We’ll be pouring a sommelier-favorite Etna Rosso, a classic Barolo that shows off Nebbiolo’s power, the always fun and versatile Valpolicella, and a Rosso di Montalcino—an incredible find for Brunello fans. We’ve also included a hidden gem from the Aosta Valley, Italy’s smallest and most overlooked wine region.
To top it off, we’ll either start or finish with an awesome Turkish white made from 80-year-old vines. The yields are so tiny that this wine is almost impossible to find outside its home country—a real treat for this tasting.
