This week, we will have one session on Tue, Nov 28 at 6:30 pm with a flight of six red wines with varying levels of perception of pyrazines.
Methoxypyrazines lead to more "green" flavors such as fresh herbs, grass, asparagus, or bell-pepper. In cooler climates or when the grape has not had adequate time for these flavors to ripen, these notes are more pronounced.
The cost per session is $28 per person. Please note that due to the educational nature of these tastings, this is not a for-profit tasting, but simply to cover the cost of the six wines used for each session.
Please remember to bring your own wine glasses. The bowls of your tasting glasses need to be 10 oz or less.
