Pourer & Sales Role:

When:

  • Flexible scheduling; you can select the dates you wish to work
  • Saturday afternoons (3:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
  • Occasional one-off special events

Responsibilities:

  • Research the wines to be poured and their key characteristics
  • Set up the pouring table before the event and break it down afterward
  • Pour wines for tasters and provide explanations about each wine
  • Ensure the tasting table remains organized and presentable throughout the event
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions
  • Assist tasters with wine questions 

Compensation: Hourly, based on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the Pourer Role:

  • Completion of at least WSET Level 2 Wines or another comparable certification course.
  • Willingness to learn and use the Square POS system (training provided).
  • Energetic, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality, with excellent customer service skills.

Server Role:

When:

  • Flexible scheduling; you can select the dates you wish to work
  • Saturday afternoons 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM 
  • Occasional one-off special events

Responsibilities:

  • Polish wine glasses and set up the tasting room
  • Take customer orders and enter them into the Square POS system
  • Deliver orders, including wines by the glass
  • Maintain wine stations and ensure the tasting room remains tidy and presentable

Compensation: Hourly, based on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the Server Role:

  • Experience and confidence in carrying a full tray with ease.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and use the Square POS system (training provided).
  • Energetic, with a sense of urgency and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly personality, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Previous experience in food and wine service is preferred but not required—candidates with a strong motivation to learn are encouraged to apply.

Preparation Role:

When:

  • Flexible scheduling; you can select the dates you wish to work
  • Thursdays OR Fridays (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and print wine lists for Saturday tastings and events
  • Set up wine stations for upcoming events
  • Configure and prepare the Square POS system

Compensation: Hourly, based on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the Preparation Role:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn Access.
  • Willingness to learn and use proprietary software, including the Square POS system and WineStation management tools (training provided).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A sense of design and strong written communication skills are a plus but not required.

Kitchen Assistant Role:

When:

  • Flexible scheduling; you can select the dates you wish to work
  • Fridays AND/OR Saturdays, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chef with kitchen setup, cleaning, and preparation of all menu items.
  • Follow recipes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to food presentation guidelines and ensure proper portioning.

Compensation: Hourly, based on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the Kitchen Assistant Role:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a restaurant kitchen.
  • A strong interest in food, cooking, and a desire to learn and improve.
  • Ability to follow instructions with great attention to detail in food preparation.
  • Strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation processes.

Researcher Role:

When:

  • Flexible scheduling; you can select the dates you wish to work

Responsibilities:

  • Research winemaking, viticulture and other aspects of all wines for classes and other events

Compensation: Hourly, based on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the Researcher Role:

  • Minimum WSET Level 3 Wines Certificate or equivalent
  • Exceptional written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to present information clearly and effectively.

Photographer Role:

When:

  • Flexible scheduling; you can select the dates you wish to work

Responsibilities:

  • Take photos at our classes and events

Compensation: Hourly, based on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the Photographer Role:

  • Experience in professional photography or strong interest in amateur photography.
  • Ability to edit images in Adobe Suite

Designer/Marketer Role:

When:

  • Flexible scheduling; remote work available

Responsibilities:

  • Create posts on social media - Instagram, FB etc.

Compensation: Hourly, based on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the Designer / Marketer Role:

  • Skilled in editing and designing eye-catching visuals and text for engaging social media posts.
  • Deep understanding of all major social media platforms and how to use them effectively.
